Digital Call Recording

Essential Homecare Services were the first domiciliary care company in The South Eastern Trust to introduce a digital recording system.  Introducing this system has helped greatly in not only improving capacity or our service but in reducing the amount of printing ink and paper we use.  All of our staff rotas and records our paperless and can be viewed by staff on their very own company handset.  Our service user information is also stored in individual profiles and the entire system has three tier security which is only accessible by the Essential Homecare Services Management Team.

The software package that we use is developed and provided by

The system works of an NFC tagging function on the staff handsets and each service user is provided with a digital NFC tag with their own unique identification number.  This number is then linked to the service user profile on the software and from that the Management Team can see:

  • Staff clock in / out times
  • Medication administered
  • Tasks carried out
  • Length of visit
  • Any additional comments

The software package also has a family access, all we need to set this up is an email address.  Once we have linked the email address to the service user profile, we create a unique password and a family member can view everything that we can in real time.
