Overnight stays or sleepovers can be provided as a form of respite care. If the service user awakens during the night and needs assistance with toileting, comforting or reassurance to relax back into sleep. These duties are normally provided from 11pm to 7am and are charged at a fixed rate. The time can be flexible to suit the service user's needs but any additional hours before 11pm and after 7am can be provided but are charged at our hourly rate. Tasks during the night have to be inline with professional assessment for the safety of both service user and Social Care Worker.
