Privacy Statements

We appreciate how important it is the keep all of our services user and staff's sensitive and personal information safe.  Essential Homecare Services have taken great strides in introducing new technology to be compliant with new GDPR and data protect legislation.  All Essential Homecare Services staff are required to sign a Confidentiality Agreement on commencement of employment, outlining that personal information is not to be shared with anyone outside of Essential Homecare Services.  As part of this compliance we have created a privacy policy.  All of our service user records are created and stored digitally and can be accessed by main carer/ Next of Kin at their request.  All Essential Homecare Services staff are provided with a company handset which is only used for rota, recording and reporting purposes.  The software package that Essential Homecare Services use is "One Plan".  This software has 3 tier security protection and the only person(s) able to access this software package is the Essential Homecare Services Management Team.  Any number of our service user's family can access all live records, additional notes, medication administered and live call completion via the family access section of the software, all that is required is a current email address.  Access to this requires the purchase of additional licences (each email address) and a monthly cost  is attached.
